Once upon a time, I was a television news reporter, travelling the world for work and pleasure – covering political upheaval one week, hanging out with orangutans the next, camping with elephants another. Now, I’m a writer and mother of two boys. I’m author of the Hazard River adventure series for kids aged 8+. I regularly visit schools and festivals to talk about writing.
